3P Kenya – Awakening Hope in Kakuma
In the heart of one of the world’s largest refugee camps, something quiet and powerful is unfolding.
3P Kenya is a community devoted to sharing the understanding of the Three Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought, discovered by Sydney Banks, with children and young people living in Kakuma Refugee Camp.
Many of these children have known displacement, loss, and uncertainty. Yet within every child there exists something untouched by circumstance — an innate wellbeing, a natural intelligence, and a deep resilience waiting to be rediscovered.
Through simple conversations, gatherings, and compassionate presence, our community helps young people see that their feelings and experiences are created from the inside out. As they begin to understand the nature of thought and the deeper wisdom within them, something beautiful begins to happen: fear softens, hope grows, and new possibilities appear.
We are not here to fix broken people.
We are here to remind each child of the wholeness that has always been within them.
From this understanding, confidence, peace, creativity, and connection naturally emerge.
3P Kenya is part of a growing global movement sharing the Three Principles to support mental wellbeing, resilience, and human potential — especially in communities that have faced great hardship.
Because when a child discovers the peace and strength already inside them, their future — and the future of their community — begins to transform.

Meet the Community Leaders
Carolina Gallardo Barker
Carolina is a leader of community for 3P Kenny and for 3Pesp (Spanish speaking organization). She is a 3 Principles teacher, coach, mentor, motivational speaker, both in English and Spanish. Originally from Argentina, now resides in the UK.
She loves working with children, adults, groups and organisations bringing hope and volunteering in many social projects.
